Really need to try and get these posts written out on a tuesday evening, time just seems to fly once its little mans bed time!
As you can see I've been sticking to my work schedule and have moved on to another box this week, the second to last one! It seems like the last one was made in a flash and this one is going just as fast, I've actually made more progress than the photo. I'm sure there will be something that slows me down later tho as this is slightly more complicated with a working lock. I think this will probably be my favorite, even though I actually hated Alice in wonderland (Disney) as a child. I was inspired by the revival of Gilmore Girls, in the last episode of A year in the Life, when one of the Characters has an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding! (its been out a while but I don't like spoiling TV or films for people).
Here's a little snapshot of the embroidery on the last box. Its Easter holidays for two weeks so not sure if I will get time to do much stitching or just written work. Still have a day and a half of child free time before then so I'm sure I'll have some progress to show you on my latest box!
Oh and we just managed to scrape enough parents at our EGM on Monday to dissolve the old pre-school charity to after Easter it should all be over and done, hooray!!
Thanks for Visiting!
Emma x
Why don't you pop over to the lovely Julia's stamping ground http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ and see more work desks it's great fun and very addictive!

Oh Emma, I'm glad the school stuff has been resolved. The embroidery on that box looks exquisite; I do hope you manage to get lots done before the holidays. Happy WOYWW Sarah #7

ReplyDeleteHi Emma, good to see the boxes are going pretty much to plan. Good to hear you've managed to resolve the committee issue too. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxX
ReplyDeleteDeleted earlier comment because it said glad the noses are coming together. LOL. I meant boxes. Love the cross stitch. I wasn't interested in Alice in Wonderland until Disney did it.

Your boxes are very pretty. I have zero talent for anything with needles and thread. Hope you have much success in finishing what you want before Easter break!
