Morning Everyone!
Just wanted to give everyone an update...I've reached 50k words and still have a bit left to do whoop! With about month to go though I'm really please with how it is all progressing, although I've only got a couple of weeks left where little man is in Preschool, not sure if I'll be done with editing and last minute photos and illustrations before hes finished but fingers crossed! He has his first proper school visit today to meet his new teacher so I will be taking work to do in the park later while hes there (because an hour isn't really enough time to bother coming back home for), cant believe that hes going to school in September even if he is ready to go!
Once the book is finished I can get back to working on some more projects and a new website with the aim of starting to plan some classes to teach from home if I can, not sure how that is going to work with the puppy though as he get very excited when we have visitors! He is a rather large dog now (he often sleeps on the floor now because hes too big to stretch out fully on the sofa🙈) but very friendly!
Thanks for Visiting!
Emma x
Why don't you pop over to the lovely Julia's stamping ground http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ and see more workdesks it's great fun and very addictive!

ReplyDeleteI only visited you once before you started editing your book. That's the hardest part of writing. Hope it goes well. Your son and puppy look very happy. Happy WOYWW from #1.
ReplyDeleteWell done for getting so far, wishing you all the best with your upcoming book and creative adventure. Labradors are magnificent, we own one ourselves now 12 but will still take advantage and sprawl on the Sofa if given chance. She'll always be a puppy to us.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing WOYWW Tracey #5
Morning Emma, not visited you before, so had no idea what you were about. Now I have spent 10 minutes exploring your Fb page and looking at your beautiful work in such diverse fields, you are so talented, well done for using it so much.

Gosh, it’s not just the puppy that’s grown! Well done with the he word count, I suspect that it will be a happy day when it’s finished, these things have a habit of being a bit of a millstone in the very final stages. Perhaps a holiday day camp for your son over the first couple of weeks of the summer hols will see you out?!
ReplyDeleteI have one of those big dogs that fill the house. Good luck with your workshops. Its what I have just started doing from home too. Karen #23
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable photo! Cuddle time!

ReplyDeleteAin't our children growing fast...?! It feels like yesterday that my son went to school for the first time but tomorrow it's his b'day and he'll be twentysix (26!!!) What happened... did I blink? Good luck finishing the book. Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland! Marit #22
ReplyDeleteMorning Emma. That's a PUPPY?????? Goodness - how big is he going to be as an adult? First day at school - hope all goes well for your son's hour - and then in September. Golly - how fast these young people grow. I was looking at some wedding photos this morning, and it is my daughters' 21st wedding anniversaries this year! It has gone by so very quickly. My eldest grand daughter is getting her driving licence for her birthday! EEK!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased for you that your book is almost ready - you have worked so hard toward it. Well done.
Take care. God bless.

ReplyDeleteHi Emma, a bit scared to think how big the PUPPY will actually be when fully grown! looks like your son and the puppy are great friends.
ReplyDeleteOur GS starts school this August too, he’s a little apprehensive about leaving all his friends I think.

Hope everything goes well with the completion of your book. He is a big dog but could be very useful for warming the sofa when the weather turns cold. Have a great woywww and happy crafting, Angela x10x

ReplyDeleteHappy young man with a very dedicated puppy. Is the puppy a Pyreneese? or mix? What book are you writing? Little man is ready for preschool, but are you? LOL Sounds as if you are indie-publishing. Me too. Hoping to have my first indie by end of September. Are you doing children's book? Email me. LOL Inquiring author wants to know. Creative Blessings!
