What's on your work desk? Wednesday 458!

Thanks for all your lovely comments last week,  I was told ages ago that if I reply to your comments  on my page that you might not get them....hence why I've replied here, is that still the case? If so I will try this week to reply in your own comments section when I look at your blogs!

Committee things have calmed down a bit but I've had two meetings in a week (one unofficial with a nice glass of prosecco). Unfortunately its not turned out how we all thought and it is definitely not just about fundraising, despite us being told that. It turns out that if the pre-school is unincorporated that all members (parents) but especially committee members are in fact financially liable....👿oh yep what a nice present the previous committee and management left us (we also have a new manager). So we have between the eight of us spend the last 7-8 months filling out lots of paperwork to change the legal status to a CIO, the final part of which was registering with Ofsted as a new setting...we were told it could take up to 25 weeks but because we also had a very good inspection under the old pre-school in January they approved it in two weeks...which lead to last weeks rushing around to get things done with plenty of time by the end of this month! Still at least it will then all be over and we can celebrate an awesome achievement! Probably with plenty of Prosecco!

Enough about that! Margaret, no I didn't paint the fabric, its been sat in my stash waiting for the right project for about 8-9 years 🙈, it is lovely tho and I think its actually an Ikat weave. Unfortunately while I have finished it I cant share the finished piece (so I've shared the back instead) so you will have to wait until the book is out, sorry! I've now got a deadline to finish the final three boxes, so I can concentrate on writing, in the next 6-8 weeks (depending on how Easter goes I will probably spend more time writing) so fingers crossed! So on that note on my work desk today is my plan for the next box which has changed several times since I first started, mainly because I need to speed things up! I absolutely love working in my new office! Still have several boxes of fabrics in our bedroom to sort out into the white unit but its livable for now!

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog and hopefully I will have made plenty of progress on the next box this time next week! You can also find me on Facebook and Instagram!

Thanks for Visiting!
