What's on your work desk? Wednesday 457!

Hi Everyone, this weeks post is going to have to be a very quick one. Firstly I want to say thank you for all your comments on the last post, I really wanted to get back to you all at the weekend but something urgent came up at the end of last week so once the stress has passed I will get back to you all, I really do appreciate it and look forward to checking out all your posts! This is why today's post is going to be short as I've been tied up with other things, lets just say for now don't join a pre-school committee without knowing the full implications, I'll be Proud once all the hard work is done and I'm grateful that the other members are all supporting each other but it certainly wasn't a stress I needed, definitely not just fundraising!

So despite that I have managed to progress with the silk shading but for today it might have to remain as it is on my New desk 😢, hopefully I can find some time at the weekend but I'm doing a class on Sunday to make a silver ring or two, not with the silver Clay but with sterling silver so I am very much looking forwards to that after this week! oh and the office is nearly there, I just have to sort the boxes of fabrics into the new white storage unit and tidy my shelf and desk.

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog and hopefully I will have finished my silk shading this time next week and with less stress going on! You can also find me on Facebook and Instagram!

Thanks for Visiting!

  1. Happy WOYWW. I love your silk work and look forward to seeing it finished. I used to be on committees and soon realised that it is not worth the stress - people take it all far too seriously! Great craft room - so light and bright. Ali x #26

  2. Hi Emma, hope you get all your committee stuff finished for a while soon and that life is less stressful. I was on the PTA at my children's primary school for 15 years from start to finish so I know what that's like. The office is looking good! Sarah #7

  3. Afternoon Emma. That crocus really is beautiful - did you paint the silk background yourself as well?? Ah - yes - pre-school committees! My daughter was chairman of theirs when an Ofsted took place - as you say - a stress you didn't know you had signed up for!
    Take care. God bless.
